LeSA-UCT offers three categories of membership to suit different levels of involvement:
Ordinary Membership:
Available to any Mosotho student registered at UCT. Ordinary members have full voting rights and are eligible to run for leadership positions within the association.
Affiliated Membership:
Open to individuals or organizations that support LeSA-UCT's objectives and activities. This membership provides an opportunity to contribute to the association’s goals without voting or leadership privileges.
Honorary Membership:
Awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to LeSA-UCT or the broader community. Honorary members are recognized for their dedication and impact.

Becoming a member of LeSA-UCT is simple and straightforward! Follow these steps:
Log in to UCT PeopleSoft:
Access the UCT PeopleSoft portal using your student credentials.
Navigate to the Societies Tab:
On the main menu, go to the "Societies" tab to explore available student organisations.
Search for LeSA-UCT:
Use the society code LSO to quickly locate the Lesotho Students Association on the list.
Register and Pay the Membership Fee:
Select LeSA-UCT and complete your registration.
Pay the annual membership fee of R200 to finalise your membership.
Once your membership has been confirmed on Peoplesoft, you will be added to the Amathuba society site for LESA-UCT. You’ll also be added to the official LeSA-UCT WhatsApp group to stay updated on events, announcements, and opportunities.
